TU Votes Coalition
The TU Votes Coalition fosters a campus civic ethos defined by the infusion of democratic values into everyday interactions, cultural practices, and structures.

The Office of Civic Engagement & Social Responsibility coordinates the TU Votes Coalition as a cross-divisional group of students and staff and guides them in the institutionalization of civic learning and democratic engagement.
The TU Votes Coalition supports students in:
- developing an understanding of the importance of active civic participation for the health and wellbeing of a democratic society
- recognizing their capacity to be a civic actor
- seeking opportunities to be a civic actor in everyday spaces
- recognizing the importance of effective communication in building community
- examining a range of perspectives, including their own and those of others, to recognize commonalities and engage in productive conversations
