Housing Eligibility
To qualify for University Housing for Summer 2025, residents must be engaged in either:
- Summer Classes: Resident is required to be a degree-seeking, admitted, and enrolled in summer classes for each session that they are residing on campus.
- Working on Campus: Resident must work 30+ hours per week on campus in order to be eligible for summer housing. An is required from the resident's TU employer.
If a resident is not enrolled in summer classes or employed 30 hours or more with the University at any point throughout the summer, it's considered a breach
of the summer housing contract and the resident will be expected to check out within
72 hours of notification.
Residents must have proper academic and disciplinary standing, as determined by the University.
Summer Housing availability is extremely limited and will be offered on a first-come,
first-served basis while space is available.
Accommodations and Cost
Students will be housed in Barnes Hall for Summer 2025.
- The summer housing rate is $35/day for Summer 2025.
- All students will be assigned to an individual bedroom and will share a bathroom with
1 other student, and share a kitchen and living area with up to 3 other students.
- There is NO meal plan available during the summer. Limited meal options are available on-campus.
- Complete Summer Housing Application via the Living@TU Portal.
- Student ensures they have completed the housing eligibility steps outlined above (i.e.
enrolled in summer classes for each session they are requiring summer housing -OR- confirmed that their on-campus supervisor submits an employment verification validating
that they are working on-campus for 30+ hours per week)
- Eligibility is checked twice a week and decisions are sent to students TU email address.
- Once eligibility has been confirmed AND space is available, students will receive a Summer Housing offer and will be required
to electronically sign their Summer Housing Contract via the Living@TU Portal to accept the offer.
